Target Audience

This program is intended for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers who care for patients with multiple myeloma.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Initiate treatment for appropriate patients based on newly revised diagnosis and staging criteria for MGUS, smoldering myeloma, and active MM
  • Create individualized treatment strategies for patients with newly diagnosed MM through consideration of the available clinical data as well as risk assessment, patient comorbidities, and patient preferences
  • Select optimal salvage therapies for patients with relapsed/refractory MM based on current guidelines, expert recommendations, and available data on newly approved and emerging agents
  • Identify and manage adverse events associated with new treatment options for patients with MM
