Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Explain the rationale for testing, expression patterns of HER3 physiologically and pathologically in the progression of EGFR-mutated NSCLC, and outline molecular testing strategies for the detection of HER3 in advanced NSCLC
  • Examine the current treatment paradigm in EGFR TKI–resistant NSCLC and the need for new approaches and targets to overcome resistance
  • Review current and emerging clinical data of novel treatment strategies for EGFR TKI–resistant NSCLC (including HER3-directed antibody–drug conjugates) and where these therapies could fit in treatment in the near future
