This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and registered nurses, pharmacists and psychologists engaged in the care of patients with psychiatric disorders.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Apply evidence-based diagnoses and screens to avoid missing diagnosis of adult ADHD
  • Differentiate the spectrum of medications available for ADHD based on efficacy, side effects and pharmacokinetics
  • Customize ADHD medication selection to the functional needs of the patients
  • Integrate evidence-based non-pharmacological strategies into the overall treatment plan
