Job Summary:

Clinical Education Alliance (CEA) is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our Digital Technology and Analytics Solutions (DTAS)technology organization to drive ongoing development and support of our Lumineer™ platform. This position will lead the full life cycle of the Full-Stack project to reimagine and relaunch this platform from business needs identification to requirements gathering through design and implementation, and support. This role encompasses all aspects of software engineering, including analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment. The successful candidate will have deep technology expertise and lead teams of employees and consultants (both US-based and Offshore) that provides solutions for complex technical projects.

As a Solutions Architect, you will lead MDOutlook’s technical strategy to strengthen and expand our existing platform Lumineer™. This position will require you to build consensus with business partners and help reimagine a new architecture for the Lumineer platform. We are looking for an individual that is a self-starter, organized and highly experienced in modern technology stacks and welcomes the challenge of building out this new role in a fast-growing company. Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all offshore / contractor resources (e.g., UX/UI, PM, BA, and QA)
  • Oversee the UX / UI strategy for Lumineer™
  • Works closely with Project Managers / SCRUM Masters, to lead the architecture and SDLC on the Lumineer™ project. Strong expertise and conviction with Agile Processes required.
  • Able to analyze alternatives and recommend contracted, 3rd-party or custom programming solutions that meet the company’s overall business goals and objectives. Also responsible for Level-3 support (engineering support) for the portfolio of applications based on lightweight ITIL-style processes
  • Leads a development team to deliver full lifecycle Full-Stack implementations from inception to roll-out
  • Promotes sound engineering processes including writing clean code, system architecture best practices, performant architecture, unit testing, overseeing code reviews and deployment

Skills & Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of Amazon Web Services offerings with hands-on experience in development and deployment
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI designs for responsive / reactive platforms
  • Experience working with large databases and knowledge of best practices for performance and storage optimization.
  • Knowledge of SOA/microservice architecture
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the custom software development, implementation and operations of enterprise-class full-stack software solutions
  • Must have prior hands-on experience required in one or more of the technology stacks and environments that this position is responsible for: LAMP, MEAN, PEAN, Dot Net, AWS, Azure
  • Experience with creating the strategic technology vision and roadmap as well as experience in process definition, execution, and operations
  • Experience with Reporting, Analytics and Business Intelligence required
  • Experience with Mobile development is preferred but not essential
  • Experience in documenting both “as is” and recommended/improved “to be” business processes that achieve or exceed desired business outcomes
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, facilitation, and decision-making skills
  • Experience with modern technology stacks (eg. MEAN, MERN, LAMP) and CI/CD best practices
  • Familiarity/experience with Salesforce-based custom solutions is preferred
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science with 5-10 years relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar technical leadership role
  • Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 10% of the time
  • Mostly Domestic. International on occasion.
