Outcomes Data Analyst

Summary: The Outcomes Data Analyst will be responsible for data acquisition, maintenance, analysis, and reporting for a variety of audiences including accredited providers, commercial supporters, partners, and internal stakeholders. The Data Analyst will develop a working knowledge of the data capture, methodology, warehousing, and reporting that underlies CCO’s educational programs and educational outcomes studies. Under the direction of the Director, the Data Analyst will be responsible for aggregating and maintaining learner metrics and outcomes data at designated intervals, tracking performance of ongoing programs, and reporting on programs at regular intervals. As a key member of CCO’s Outcomes team, the Data Analyst will contribute to advancing CCO’s educational outcomes methodologies by assisting in the development of innovative methods to collect, visualize, and report outcomes data.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Program reporting – Works under the direction of the Director to track program report components and aggregate data for new programs
  • Monthly/Quarterly reporting – Provides internal stakeholders with designated program metrics as required by commercial supporters, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Outcomes reporting – Tracks learner participation in educational outcomes studies and follow-up surveys; pull data and perform statistical analyses; author reports at designated intervals
  • Ad hoc reporting – Upon request of strategy team or senior leadership, provides program-specific or aggregated metrics
  • Data management – Identifies opportunities for improvement in current workflows and processes related to the collection and analysis of educational outcomes, collaborate with other teams to find solutions, and drive necessary changes/advancements with various internal teams
  • Documentation – Takes the lead in identifying and developing necessary documentation of SOPs and best practices

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and project management skills with strong attention to detail and an ability to deliver multiple projects on time
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a business-critical team

Education/Qualifications:

  • BS/BA required, preference for degrees in disciplines with a focus on analytical problem solving and quantitative analysis
  • 3-5 years’ work experience in analytics and reporting, experience in a continuing medical education setting highly desired
  • High level of proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with one or more of the following: tableau, SQL, SSRS, SharePoint, salesforce, NetSuite, and reporting/data visualization programs highly desired

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel to company events
  • Domestic travel
