Director, Strategic Services

Summary: The Director, Strategic Services, is responsible for the identification and funding of services aligned with Clinical Education Services including, but not limited to the following: content hosting, outcomes reporting, virtual and in-person program logistics, virtual customizable platform solutions, accreditation services, and integrated audience generation solutions. In addition, this individual is responsible for the creation and successful execution of a business plan, including all related communications and interactions with healthcare education partners, patient advocacy organizations, and associations/societies

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business plan opportunities for partnerships with healthcare education partners patient advocacy organizations, and associations/societies, with a clear roadmap to success
  • Develop new business opportunities in US and international markets using CME experience and relevant scientific knowledge to write creative operational solutions for high-potential educational program proposals for submission to potential supporters for funding
  • Achieve quarterly and annual grant targets set by senior management and provide monthly forecasts
  • Establish, maintain, and manage communications with all partners; establish the value of the CES brand
  • Ensure all participation metrics, outcomes analyses, and other relevant CES reports are developed and distributed to program supporters on time
  • Manage accounts as assigned. Oversee all related grant procurement activities, generate and maintain timely, accurate reports and records of associated events and grant proposals, including maintenance of accurate and complete account information within CES CRM.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent presentation, communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Skill in working effectively on multidisciplinary teams and in decentralized work and communication environments
  • Current experience in the use of MS Word, Excel and PPT is essential

Education/Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of the Internet and computers, including a sophisticated understanding of existing Internet-based educational program models
  • Working knowledge of Joint Accreditation criteria and other regulatory agencies' guidelines and policies with commercially supported educational activities
  • Three to five years in sales, account management, and/or direct responsibility for grant procurement role in a medical education company-established relationship with supporters, medical education companies, and associations/societies.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time

Travel Requirements:

  • Significant travel to partners and medical conferences
  • Domestic and international travel
