Target Audience

This program is intended for US pharmacists and other healthcare providers who care for patients with or at risk of HIV and HCV infection.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Apply expert guidelines in screening and identifying appropriate candidates for PrEP in the pharmacy setting
  • Provide insightful counsel to patients who are candidates for PrEP, including education on all aspects of PrEP and linkage to care resources as needed
  • Implement pharmacy-based strategies to support patients receiving PrEP, including confidential patient counseling, prescribing and/or dispensing, and on-therapy monitoring
