Target Audience

This program is intended for US pharmacists and other healthcare providers who care for patients with or at risk of HIV and HCV infection.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Apply best practices in HIV screening, patient counseling, and linkage to HIV to care for newly diagnosed patients
  • Provide appropriate long-term support strategies for patients receiving ART, including adherence support and patient advocacy
  • Implement pharmacy-based strategies to optimize safe and effective use of ART, including drug-drug interaction assessment and adverse event counseling and management
