This program is intended for the healthcare team involved in managing patients with diabetes including physicians, advance practice providers, physician assistants, and nurses who practice in an endocrinology, internal medicine, and family medicine setting as well as certified diabetes educators (dietitians and pharmacists).

Clinical Care Options, LLC has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 1.0 AAPA Category 1 CME credit. Approval is valid until November 11, 2022. PAs should only claim commensurate with the extent of their participation.
Registered Dietitians/Dietetic Technicians, Registered will receive 1.0 Continuing Professional Education unit (CPEUs) for completion of this activity.
Completion of this RD/DTR profession-specific or IPCE activity awards CPEUs (One IPCE credit = One CPEU). If the activity is dietetics-related but not targeted to RDs or DTRs, CPEUs may be claimed which are commensurate with participation in contact hours (One 60 minute hour = 1 CPEU. RDs and DTRs are to select activity type 102 in their Activity Log. Performance Indicator selection is at the learner’s discretion.

4. Submit answers to the posttest questions and evaluation questions online.
You must receive a test score of at least 65% and respond to all evaluation questions to receive a certificate.
After submitting the evaluation, you may access your online certificate by selecting the certificate link on the posttest confirmation page.
Records of all CME/CE activities completed can be found on the "CME/CE Manager" page. There are no costs/fees for this activity.
