Target Audience

This program is intended for physicians, registered nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers caring for women at risk of or with HIV infection.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Implement strategies to reduce HIV infection rates among young women and adolescent girls in resource-limited settings
  • Select ART regimens for HIV-infected women based on evolving data and practice guidelines
  • Apply current guidelines on the optimal timing of ART initiation among HIV-infected women in resource-limited settings
