Target Audience

The target audience will include Primary Care and relevant specialty (eg, endocrinology, transplant medicine, gastroenterology) physicians, pharmacists, advanced practice nurses, and other members of the care team responsible for making immunization plans in adults.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Apply insights on the burden of disease of HBV in the US to your own patient population, including prevalence, transmission, and outcomes
  • Integrate strategies to overcome barriers to HBV vaccination into patient care strategies, including identification of adult populations that are at high risk for infections and poor outcomes
