In SWOG Phase III Trial, Irinotecan/Cisplatin Fails to Demonstrate Survival Advantage Over Etoposide/Cisplatin in Extensive SCLC

In contrast to JCOG 9511, the SWOG S0124 phase III trial failed to demonstrate response or survival advantages for irinotecan/cisplatin over the current standard etoposide/cisplatin in treatment of patients with extensive small-cell lung cancer
