Begin the Interactive Virtual Presentation

This program provides insights into the magnitude of the HCV epidemic and current challenges when treating patients with chronic hepatitis C, helping participants navigate data from recent and ongoing clinical trials of STAT-C agents and understand their potential impact on HCV management including the prospects for reduced durations and increased efficacy of treatment in both treatment-naive and treatment-experienced patient populations.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe 2 factors that impact the current and/or future burden of HCV disease
  • Identify STAT-C agents that are currently in advanced clinical development, including their mechanisms of action
  • Compare the duration of therapy required by the current standard of care with emerging data from studies of STAT-Cs in treatment-naive and treatment-experienced patient populations
  • Compare the efficacy of current FDA-approved regimens and emerging data from studies of STAT-Cs in both treatment-naive and treatment-experienced patient populations
