Capsule Summary:
Addition of Alisporivir to PegIFN/RBV Yields Superior Efficacy vs PegIFN/RBV Alone in Treatment-Naive Patients With Genotype 1 HCV
The addition of alisporivir to pegIFN/RBV therapy was generally well tolerated but was associated with higher rates of hyperbilirubinemia vs pegIFN/RBV alone; cases of hyperbilirubinemia resolved early during treatment and were not associated with evidence of hepatotoxicity.
